Concordia AI has convened AI safety and governance forums at major conferences, such as China’s premier World AI Conference. These gatherings have featured an unprecedented assembly of global AI leaders including Turing Award winners, leaders of AI Safety Institutes, executives of frontier AI labs, and senior representatives from the United Nations. These events have drawn over a thousand in-person attendees, reached millions online, and attracted extensive media coverage.

Built a subscriber base of over 6,000 through “AI Safety in China” and WeChat account. “AI Safety in China” is our flagship newsletter providing cutting-edge analysis of China’s AI safety landscape for international audiences. Our WeChat account shares research and latest developments in AI safety with the Chinese developer and expert ecosystem.

Engaged over 500 AI safety researchers and practitioners through fellowship programs, community events, and academic collaborations. Our Affiliates Program is a global network of fellows from leading AI research groups and institutes around the world. We foster cross-cultural dialogue and strengthen research ties between Chinese and international AI safety communities.

Published the world’s first comprehensive reports on AI safety in China and Singapore, analyzing each country’s governance practices, technical research, industry developments, expert views, and public opinion. Our staff contributed to the first International AI Safety Report—a comprehensive synthesis of literature on advanced AI risks and capabilities, led by Turing Award Winner Yoshua Bengio and supported by 30 nations, the UN, the OECD, and the EU. We co-hosted China’s first-ever AGI safety-focused forum at a major Chinese AI conference during BAAI 2023, bringing critical safety discussions into China’s leading AI research community.
